About me
I studied Computer Technical Engineering (3 years) and then Computer Engineering at the University of Cadiz.
I wrote my master thesis working in the Software Process Improvement & Format Methods (SPI&FM) group, named Reengineering and improvement of the dynamic potential invariants generation for web services compositions in WS-BPEL Takuan , which was rated with "Distinction".
Right now, I am a Fellow at CERN, working in the Grid Technology group, Data Managemen Systems section. Formerly I used to work in testing, certification and some integration tests; but now I work mostly in an Apache module for DAV access to DPM clusters.
As part of my work here, I developed the tool SAKET, which is used by DMS for the nightly builds and tests. This tool is able to submit the build and test jobs to ETICS, and then retrieve and parse the log, keeping an archive with the progress of the process.
Although I do not collaborate with them any more, I wrote some code for QtOctave and all the code of Hispaciencia.com.
QtOctave is included in the "Universe" repository of Debian and, therefore, Ubuntu.
Hobbies
Lately, I barely have any time for hobbies. Anyway, I have become sort of "sportive", running two or three times a week (~1h) along the lake and Rue de Laussane when the weather is nice, or in the gym when it is not (swiss weather...). I go to the gym twice per week too, and in winter I managed to ski a little bit.
Computers used to be a hobbie too, but now I already spend some⸮ time at work with them, so I don't like to spend my of my free time in front of another one.
